For a homeowner, rewiring is often prompted by a practical warning sign: frequent breaker trips, flickering lights, ungrounded receptacles, warm switches, a failed inspection, or an older panel that no longer supports modern loads. The objective is not merely to install new wire. It is to establish a safe, documented electrical system that performs reliably under current household demand.

What a Whole House Rewiring Project Includes

A true whole-house rewire generally involves replacing obsolete branch-circuit wiring and bringing key parts of the electrical system into alignment with current National Electrical Code requirements and local inspection standards.
